Control III Disinfectant/Germicide, 1 pint

Have used this for years to clean and disinfect my CPAP supplies. Works great.

Have to mix with water - but it is a good way to clean tubing, mask cushions and other Cpap equipement.Lasts for about 14 days once mixed. One has to be organized to use the product. Need a large container, a measuring spoon and of course water to mix. But it works great: been using it for several years now and each bottle lasts several months. I feel confident that the supplies are clean.

It’s hard to prove that a product works against something that’s invisible, but I do feel it does the job of sanitizing my CPAP gear. I’ve never once had a health issue associated with my equipment, and that keeps me loyal. All it takes is a 10 minute soak.

I bought this thinking it might be handy for disinfecting my CPAP mask, hose, etc. it’s a concentrated solution, and you use just one ounce in a gallon of water. Once mixed, it’s good for up to two weeks before you need to mix new solution. I suppose it does what it’s supposed to do, although I found it to be a bigger hassle than just briefly washing my equipment in the bathroom sink with dish soap. I think this product is intended mainly for commercial usage where equipment is used by more than one person. Unless you have problems with recurring infections, you really don’t need this disinfectant. An ozone cleaner is probably just as effective and a lot easier and less messy to use.
