Yes to B and 2B. No to H and HB.
You can read my other reviews for Nitram charcoal but just to sum it up, the B and 2B are nice and smooth whereas H and HB are inconsistent and the charcoal can be scratchy without leaving a charcoal mark, just a scratch that damages the paper. I gave a good 4 stars because this is a good pack to get yourself acquainted with the brand and what it offers and then you can make your own decision about your charcoal preference.

Like all charcoal, you need to sand to your desired point. This box has 4 lovely thickness or hardness styles, 2 each. Very good value.

Wie neu, aber schon gebrochen...
Nitram gilt eigentlich als besonders stabil, aber diese Kohlestifte aus einem Warehouse Deal (wie neu!) haben es nur bereits geknackst zu mir geschafft.. Da Amazon die aber aus Italien schon hierher verfrachtet hat und ich jetzt ja auch mit den StĂŒcken zeichnen kann, behalte ich die mal.

Amazon sÀger sig vilja vÀrna om miljön och ignorerar totalt vad de faktiskt Àr för vara de skickar, de Àr bara intresserad av minsta möjliga volym/format. "More smiles" - knappast!Dessa sköra kolpinnar levererades till mig i ett kuvert, vem som helst med lite tankekraft borde inse vad som skulle hÀnda. Jag Àr smÄtt förundrad att nÄgra av kolpinnarna faktiskt Àr hela.De skulle naturligtvis skickas i en liten kartong med bubbelplast som skydd.Grymt besviken, om du har en lokal affÀr som sÀljer dessa sÄ köp dem dÀr istÀllet!
