Amazing
Like others, I was drawn to this music after hearing it in a TV show (the recent season finale of Castle for me, and "In Your Veins"). After searching for the song that caught my attention, I read the reviews of his other music, and downloaded this plus that single, and am so glad I did. The music is so rich and gorgeous, that I actually stop what I'm doing to concentrate on the lyrics and truly "hear" what he's saying. The song that has stuck with me the most so far is "Open Your Eyes" - 'open your eyes now, it's time to leave, it's time to leave . . . me.' The emotional lyrics and the powerful piano are beautiful together.Like all the others have said, this is well worth the money. Before you know it, all the songs have played, and its time to start them over again.

An artist worth watching
I normally don't like to review things, I think that it's kind of pointless and, lets face it, you look for the only one star reviews to read because they say something different than what everyone else says. That being said, I have to write a review for The Ladder. Andrew Belle is a very gifted musician just brimming with potential, and it completely shines through with his freshmen release. there are upbeat songs that really show off his style of writing, but then slower songs that really stress and accentuate his vocal talents.Overall the Ladder is worth every penny spent. I look forward to many more great hits from this rising star.

Incredible album!
I purchased this album on a whim after listening to samples and reading reviews. Andrew Belle captures a romantic and relaxing sound in his music that few artists seem capable of. The lyrics are meaningful, and the accompanying instruments are well-matched. I'd recommend this to everyone.

song craft
heard about this artist via local radio station; a best of local program and fell in love with the voice, melodies and lyrics. Comparisons to Chris Martin are inevitable, but a shame... he's got his own unique style & craft. Keep it up!

Great singer-songwriter stuff
Stumbled across this album on the net somewhere and gave it a shot. Really good stuff for an unknown. Overall, would rate the album as evenly written in quality without fillers. Hope to hear more from this guy in the future.
