Craftmade TMP52W5 Tempo 52" Ceiling Fan with LED Light and Remote, 5 Blades, White

First of all... this is simply a beautiful fan! I love the lighting! And the fan is about 1000% more efficient than the fan we replaced! The fan arrived nicely packed in a timely manner. My husband (who is a construction supervisor and electrician by trade) installed it in no time at all. The one and only problem came with the remote/wall switches. One of them worked fine, but the other one simply did not work. He tried everything, but there was some sort of defect. I contacted DelMar, and they sent out a replacement via Fed Ex, which arrived in two days. Customer Service was superb!! Couldn't be happier with the product or the service. VERY pleased!

This ceiling fan is QUIET and runs on every possible setting. It has a remote + wall insert that perfectly controls both the fan and lights. There is both an up and down light on this fan (which can be independently operated), so if you have an attractive ceiling, this is a nice feature. The product description on the website does not inform that the other side of the stainless steel colored fan blades is a beautiful contemporary light oak color/design. The size is just right for a kitchen and works efficiently on low, medium, and high output. Sleek contemporary brushed nickel design looks great with stainless steel appliances. The low fan setting moves the air quietly without blowing you away or cooling off the food.

Love the looks of the fan and it works smoothly and much quieter than our previous fan. There is a delay between the time you flip the on switch until the light actually goes on but you get used to it. The directions to install it are NOT clear about vaguely alluded to installation options between a switch or remote and we were not able to figure out how to hook up the fan to a separate switch but we can use the remote for that and still hoping that our electrician friend can save the day.The electrician came out and the only way to change the remote to an on/off wall switch with separate switch for fan and light is to buy another switch which would cost about $100.00.

I followed the installation instructions very carefully and had no problems whatsover. This is a nice fan, very quiet and unobtrusive.
