Whiskey in the jar Review: Well done. Familiar songs. - Often times these tin whistle song books have many songs I'm not familiar with. I expect that, then I listen and learn the ones I didn't know. That's good because it increases the lexicon of my song vocabulary of this tradition. THIS book had more titles I recognized by name than the other books I've seen. It's well laid out. The score is one the left page and lyrics (and even chord charts if you need them) on the right. I agree with other reviews that a spiral binding would've been an improvement--but not necessary. It's a larger sized folio and any decent music stand could hold it open. They've even printed the whistle TAB right in the score line with the lyrics. For this price you can't go wrong. Music and song books don't have the same necessity of design standard that other publications follow.
