Superb sound and cost-effective
I bought the JBL C2PM Control 2P Master speaker, because I already had a pair of 20-plus-year-old JBL Pro iii speakers. I hadn't used the old speakers in years, but pairing one of them with this powered Master, I now have an excellent desktop near-field monitor. I use them for audio and video editing, as well as general computer audio, and they are terrific. I will be buying another Master to go with my other Pro iii.

Very good speaker but not what I wanted
I ordered this speaker thinking it was the two speaker item. When it arrived I thought the second speaker was missing. After I did a little research I realized I had incorrectly ordered this unit. I called AMAZON and they handled MY misteak.

A musical companion
Bought a single unit for a nephew who plays guitar a Christmas or two ago, and it worked just fine, guess they still have it. Bought this SET for a grandson learning guitar, but it did not work. I cant say its a bad product but failures out of the box seem quite common anymore. Gonna look for an alternative based on feedback from the crew. Maybe used here is better.

Bob Heil recommended this on HamNation... The speakers that come with the transceivers are not very good. Feed this with a Behringer mixer and introduce some equalization, and you have a room full of SSB sound.... I can here things I never heard before.

I'm disappointed. For the first two times i used it ...
Well, I'm disappointed. For the first two times i used it was good. But the third time i used it, it now has noise coming out of the speaker, and when connected to an audio input with the volume low there other issues and noise. When it is discounted from an inpur it makes noises.I really don't like having to spend more money to send it back to be repaired.I took a chance on a recommendation from a friend, and now will not do that or order from on line.Thanks for asking.Bill Sepulveda
