Cambridge Aquatics Power Filter, 5-20 Gallon

I received this filter brand new with a 20 gallon tank I bought off of Craigslist. I have been using that filter for several months no problem. My tank needed more filtration, and rather than buy a random filter to go with it, I wanted to buy the same one again so they match. I couldn't find this filter in any stores, so I ordered it here on Amazon for cheaper including shipping than many filters in store. They both look great, and typically aren't noisy. Only if they are overfilled or it is not assembled correctly. Even still, you can remove the lid to solve this problem.I really like that the filter is clear so that you can see when the filter pad is falling apart or if something is clogged. It also has 2 slots for filter pads so that you can insert a new pad to grow bacteria on before throwing away an old one to avoid a mini cycle. The only thing is that this is when the filter becomes loud. It's not too bad though. The tetra medium biobags fit this filter too, so you don't have to worry about tracking down replacement filter pads when the time comes since these are available everywhere.

I bought this for a turtle tank. Filter works well but runs a little loud, it's good for the price.

When I first got the filter it had a hole in the container part. I Email the company and they shipped other one back. This project is easy to use and costumer services is great.
