Put this out on your airplane
This is the "Brick Chickenhouse" of GoPro Session cases. Machined from an aluminum billet and holding a professional 52mm filter holder for ND filters, this setup will still be there when you land. Of course you can use any other filter, but the name indicates its primary function, and it does that well. Not cheap, but it will probably last through half a dozen GoPro cameras. I mount mine near the tail wheel for undercarriage shots and for rating my landings. As such, it's really out in the elements and has held up well. Only cons are that it provides only a tiny hole to access the ON/OFF-Connect button on the Session. Accordingly I set up the camera and have it paired with the app before I lock it into the housing.

Airplane Ready for G's
This is very well built. I will drill and tap additional holes for my mount. It will be in a 3-4 G environment. You have to be careful with the door latch because it will not slam shut like a door. But I like that because the pin engages very well and I think lifting the release slightly to close and lock is a small thing to make this a reliable latch.

Rebranded SookSun case without Nflightcam logo
Not exactly the same as what is in the picture. The laser engraved “N” logo on the side of the case is missing. It looks like Nflight cam is simply using SookSun brand cases, putting a ND8 filter on them and a cover, then doubling the price. Buy a SookSun case and a ND8 filter with a cover and save yourself some money. Disappointed that Nflightcam didn’t even care enough to put their logo on the product as the picture in the description shows. Quality of SookSun case is good but attention to detail by Nflightcam is low.

Pros and Cons
First iteration of the product is good, but needs some improvement.Pros- It's built like a tank.- Beautifully machined, compact, expertly made, and looks fantastic mounted to a wing strut.- The prop filter works great. It doesn't make the prop dissapear, but makes it look realistic; like the normal blurr you see of a spinning prop.- The full wide angle image is still viewable. No rounding of the edges either.Cons- You can't access the Session's WiFi button with the case door closed (unless you mount the camera upside down)- It is impossible to get the camera out of the case unless you shake it out. Once it is in...it is in. So I have to unmount the case, and shake the camera out every time I use it.- The back door latch is very secure, but difficult to actuate. But, since I have to unmount it to get the camera out this is not too much of a problem.Overall worth the purchase, but I really wish it was easier to get the camera out, and the WiFi button was accessable when closed (especially for the price I paid).Happy flying/filming.
