What is the drying time?

It seemed to be very dry within an hour but I installed it here in Arizona on a warm dry day so I don't know if you're drying time would be the same. I let it dry for an additional 24 hours before I did anything else in the boat that I installed the carpet in.

Can this be used for a car carpet?

Not really sure Patrick if this carpet adhesive would stick to a metal surface or not ! I don't think it would be an issue with the carpet. I no longer have my container to look to see if it can be used on metal. Tim

will this stick to bare aluminum?

I've only used it on concrete to install outdoor carpeting on my porch. I suspect that if the aluminum is sanded lightly with fine sandpaper, the glue would work. It would also depend on the product being attached to the aluminum.
