This is a custom handmade knife with a leaf shape blade. This is not forged, but instead cut from a sheet of carbon steel. There is a false edge on the spine of the blade. The metal has been treated with a mixture of acids and salt to give the unique finish. It has been properly heat treated so as to keep a good sharp edge. The handle is made from red oak and is a coffin design. The brass guard has a brushed finish. The blade is 7.25" long and the overall length of the knife is 12".
