Need clamps for use on 8mm pipe.
These are exactly 8mm in diameter meaning they slide easily into 8mm pipe rather than creating a firm grip for joining on their own. They need the addition of pipe clamps to make a sealed join between 8mm pipe. This should be made clearer in the description or clamps included.

Not suitable for BBQ hose
Although these fittings are stated as 8mm they are too small to fit standard 8mm ID BBQ hose (double walled orange / black stuff). Jubilee clips did not help to achieve a seal.Unfortunately not suitable for the purpose I purchased them for.
