Highly recommended headphones for studio or average users
These headphones are amazing! I've had tons of pairs of headphones and these just can't be beat! These pro 40s make beats look like trash. I did have one small problem with these headphones though and that was the cord. The metal pro 40s part came off from constant use (shows in picture) and now that it did the cord has to be turned to a certain place to get it to work correctly but, it's no big deal. I'll just buy the studio cord from munitions site. I'm not sure if this problem has or will happen to you or other people. I just have bad luck with this kind of stuff sometimes. Anyways, audio. How do they sound? Like i said before, these are the best headphones (in my opinion) that I have ever owned, and they sound amazing. Highs, mids, lows, all perfect. No distortion at all. high or low volumes, great. these are very well built also. Very hard to break these unless you do it purposely. these look very good to. The gold is very flashy and kind of pops out. Pretty good at catching eyes. Anyways 10/10 headphones. Very recommended to get these if you want precision sound. Can't wait till the pro 30s come out.

I'm coming up to a year with these headphones now, I will say they have their ups and downs.First of all, I've never owned a pair of high end over the ear headphones so my standards for sound quality are fairly low, that being said. I've been through numerous sets of sub $100 headphones so I'd like to think I have a fair understanding of the low end. These headphones do need a fair break in period for them to really come into their own. Out of the box, they're nothing special. But after a couple hours burn in you can feel the powerful bass that these headphones have been marketed with. If you're one for level audio, in which you can hear everything as produced I would advise caution with these. Alternatively, if you're one who's more into EDM and the surrounding genres these are a spectacular set of headphones. Strong highs, Rediculous low end but unfortunately a slightly disappointing mid range performance in comparison. After my Eleven months with these headphones, I've noticed a couple flaws. The right-hand driver is slightly loose, so if you bump your hand on them you can lose a bit of volume for a couple seconds (or more). Also, the headphone jack port on the headphones, at least on mine, is NOT straight. After bending the plug on FOUR different cables I began to suspect it was the port, after a bit of fiddling around I've noticed that my copy has a slight bend toward the driver which, after time causes the connection on the cable plug to bend. At the 10 months after purchase point, this bend finally caused damage to the headphones themselves breaking the plastic of the headphone port on the cans. That small ring piece on the end of the port snapped off. This doesn't change anything to the audio but it's irritating and honestly not what I'd expect from a $90 set of headphones. Now coming towards the 12 months stage I've bought myself a new set of headphones, as disappointingly quality has been lost over the last year. The headphones just aren't what they used to be. The sound is now musky and feels slightly muffled. And they just don't have the performance I want from them. I'm moving on to a more level soundstage (Sennheiser's) as, personally my music preferences have changed over the last year. And these are no longer satisfactory.IF YOU COMPLETELY LOSE AUDIO IN ONE EAR IT COULD BE THE CABLE.Two out of the four times I bent a cable it cause complete loss of sound from one of the cans. After replacing the cable the signal was returned.Overall I'll give the headphones a 4/5 as they are stunning, had the sound stage I was looking for (at the time of purchase) and have managed to last me a year. I'd say I got my money's worth.

Feel the BASS!
Was in the market for Bassy Headphones. After reading many reviews on various brands, I settled on these because of the reviews, AND the look. I have to say the black and gold just looks outstanding. The sound, what can I say. They BOOM! I tried beats when they first came out and I was NOT impressed when I let the Best Buy guy put them on my head. These are Bassy and you hear the mids and highs. I let my girlfriend try them and she said they sound like when she used to sit in her car and crank her sound system. So basically its like having a sound system on your ears. I have to agree. The build quality is solid. These babies were built to last. Just very impressed with the total package. PC Mag is my go to review source. Check it out.

DO NOT BUY- DEFECTIVE AND ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE
I DJ and work on producing music. As noted in several other reviews.. after only a short time (6-7 weeks) the driver in the left ear goes out. NO RESPONSE from the company whatsoever. THE WORST SERVICE OF ALL. It is a shame because these monitors sound amazing .. when they work. I think the company knew of this defect and that of course is why they dropped the price on them so drastically. But to just ignore your customers is crap. I would have easily settled for a replacement driver or even sending them in to upgrade to a newer model. But alas mine will just sit on a shelf and I will happily notify all who ask DO NOT BUY THESE FROM THIS PIECE OF GARBAGE COMPANY.

Very Disappointed
I've been looking to enter the high-end headphone market for a while now, and have been researching headphones and headphone companies for a long time. Out of the blue, I came across this new brand, Munitio, and was intrigued by their models. I conducted some research on their cans, and waited until I found them at a reasonable price before purchasing. I was very eager to test the headphones out, but regret to say that they were not nearly up to the hype they had been receiving online. The sound leaks quite a bit more than I expected, and the pressure that these exert on your ears is incredible. The sound was OK, but for the price that they retail at, "OK" is not acceptable. The only reason I'm giving these two stars instead of one is because I have to admit that they're some of the cleanest-looking headphone I've seen, on par with the Beats by Dre models. However, if you're looking for exceptional value in headphones around the price-range of $200-300, look elsewhere.
