Original part and high quality
A direct replacement and typical Insinkerator high quality. I replace the mounting flange when I had my countertop replaced with a new sink. The flange worked great - can't say the same for the offbrand drain guard I bought. This mounting flange is highly recommended.

Excellent product, easy to install.
Was told by someone at Home Depot who's worked in the plumbing department for 15 years that you cannot buy this piece separate. Uh huh, just check Amazon.ca, they have everything! Ordered this in for almost have the price at Wayfair and just installed it tonight. Works perfect and looks great! Matches our new sink beautifully - much nicer than our beat up old one.
