While designed as an adjustable mounting for spray nozzles, these adjustable ball fittings are also used as an adjustable union-type coupling when assembling fluid line systems in machines and other plant equipment. All ball fittings have a 40° included angle range of adjustment in a three-dimensional field ... with the exception of the 1/4" and 3/8" sizes which offer a 50° range. Exact angular adjustment is made without disturbing pipe connections. Loosening the locking screws releases the ball fitting for positioning. Sealing surfaces of the ball are leakproof with the locking screws firmly holding the flanges in place. For pressures up to 125 psi. Connections are not affected by jars or vibration.
