While this is clearly for a child, I have used it at the gym since I have ruined several pairs that have gotten tangled over the years and was tired of knowing that I would have to replace them at least twice yearly. If you want great sound quality, this is not for you. If you want to be able to use it without tangled wires and broken connections and provide decent sound, this is great. Retraction helps immensely, though not fully retractable. Overall, for general use, this is a great bargain!

Good gift for young child who gets cords in knots.Easy to keep track of. Good selection of creatures too.

Very disappointing - cute idea but I didn't realize that the size was so big. Her parent told me it was okay, she would grow into them.

Great for the price.Minus one star because they don't go completely into the red thing; they only go as far as you see in the promotional picture, which doesn't guarantee no tangles, although I haven't had any real problems so far.Design: They're cute. The red thing is rather bulky. It also uses quite a lot of force when winding them, so be careful and hold onto them where you want it to stop if you're going to press it while wearing them or you'll have it jerked out of your ears rather painfully. They're comfortable to wear, but be warned that despite the cuteness these are a regular size and will probably not fit in a child's ears.Quality: So far they're worked fine. Not amazing, but perfectly acceptable for $2. Sound is clear and not distorted. They also don't give static when you accidentally twist the connector, which is nice.Usage: I've only connected them to my phone (which, despite the product name, is not an apple product and shockingly still works with them) but they've never not worked with it.Basically, you get what you pay for. In this case maybe even a little bit more. If you like the look of these and you don't need something fancy, they're cheap and they work... what more could you need?
