ProPlumber Rubber 1-1/4" & 1-1/2" Flexible Coupling- 144907

If I could give this zero stars I would. It was a humongous waste of my time. First of all, I'm not sure what qualifies this as flexible, it's nearly as rigid as PVC. I was originally planning on using the entire length of it to slip between the two open PVC ends in my sump pump system, just as it was described to be useful for. I have about a 4" gap in between the two pipes, which is just a bit too big for the standard flexible coupling.When I realized that it wasn't nearly flexible enough to bend and slip over the pipes, I cut it so that it was 3/4" long than the gap it needed to close, but still long enough to secure with the provided bands. I still couldn't get it to flex enough to slip over the pipe. At this point, I realized that the inflexibility wasn't the only issue. The diameter of this repair tube is actually too small (and yes, I removed the 1 1/4" inserts). I took a piece of 1 1/2" PVC I had laying around, and no amount of screwdriver maneuvering or silicone spray would allow me to slip this coupling over the PVC. Total bust. And now, the piece that I removed in order to install this is no longer usable. They should probably remove this from availability.

I expected a single piece like it was showing in the image. What came in the mail was that item literally cut up into 4 pieces with what looks like a hacksaw job. Complete waste of time waiting for this product and would not recommend to anyone.
