Sony a7iv, it fits like factory. One person recorded a video review saying it is loose, and that did make me think waste of time maybe? I said, it is 13bucks who cares.I Put it on, it clicked right into place and felt as if it was made by Sony for the a7iv( other models I can not verify). Either that guy got a bad one, or he destroyed his view finder from being rough cleaning it or taking it on and off. It bugs me because reviews like that make people not want to try it. Thing is awesome, greatly improves the view finder and I have to say….the camera looks even better. My factory one is still brand new still and it will stay in my bag as a back up. For $13 bux I mean seriously. The money we All spend on dumb gear and filters or overpriced specialty lenses that cost more than a macbook pro, how can you not at least try. Someone said it gets in the way with a certain gimbal…and? Ill take it off if that happens. I use the view finder with EVERY single photo, so Hope this helps someone who saw the same review.

This seems like a great idea, needed to block out the light, but I found the rubber too firm and did not easily conform my eye socket, which takes away from its utility as it is not fully light blocking. If it were a little softer and more flexible I believe this would not be an issue. Alas.

Fits my Sony a7iv perfectly and is an excellent upgrade for sunny days, especially for people who wear glasses.

I am very glad I ordered this. The stock eye cup is so small when you put your eye against it you almost have to turn your head sideways or look at it from weird angles to use it, so its very uncomfortable. Also light easily can sneak in and obscure your view of the EVF when you are trying to take shots outside and see the image clearly when using the stock a7IV eyecup. This replacement eyecup solves both of these problems by making the eyecup comfortable and so your nose does not touch the screen and it also completely blocks out the light. Its only 14 bucks to solve the problem, and it literally makes the camera feel so much better. Some people complain it takes their eyes too far from the viewfinder, but since it is comfortable rubber you can just press your eye in a bit and that solves that problem, also the viewfinder is easy to see even without pressing in IMHO. You are never going to be able to have a perfect setup of eyecup to evf, so this is prob as close as you could get for the perfect stock eyecup for the a7IV. I think generally this will work for most people and they will be very happy with it. How to install: Its very easy to install, you just pinch the two buttons on the bottom of the stock a7iv rubber eyecup and slide it up and off (look closely and you wills see the little levers to pinch), then you slide the new eye cup on (from the top down) and it clicks in to place perfectly.

It is an excellent product. I had to change the first one I ordered as the reference was not right; once I got the right one, it fitted very well on my camera (Sony 7 IV). So if you have a camera like this, please, be aware to select the Kiwi long eyecup KE-EP19L. Very nice product.

Does NOT fit the Sony A7Riv, as the description stated. Doesn't lock in, as it's too wide. And it covers the sensor to allow the eyepiece or screen from being used.

Delivery was fast, it fits my Sony A7RV perfectly. Is great for blocking sidelight so that I can easily see the details in my viewfinder. It does stick out a bit which could cause a problem packing the body into a tight space but I discovered it can be folded back making it the same depth as the original eyepiece. A great addition!

Works great and seals nicely against my eye with room for the nose. The stock eye cup is far too shallow and does not seal properly. This should have been stock on the camera.

With the original Sony viewfinder I was getting light coming in whenever the sun was off to my side, making it difficult to see clearly. I purchased this item to solve this problem and it works perfectly. It seals around you eye very well and sticks out a bit further from the camera than the original eyepiece. Others have mentioned having more difficulty seeing the viewfinder display due to the eyepiece being longer but I have not noticed any difference myself. As for build quality, the rubber cup and plastic clip seem to be just as good as the original Sony one. I also found that when I had my glasses on I could still look through the viewfinder by bringing the eyepiece over the top of my glasses. My glasses have a slim frame so this may not work for everyone. This works for what I need it to do and I recommend it.
