Gator Sports Duo Headwear

The "mouth holes" are kind of a gimmick. All they do is get slimy from your breath and choke off your air supply when breathing hard. I ended up just cutting out a big opening with scissors.They could also change the velcro in back to make the sizing more adjustable. Right now if it doesn't fit you perfectly you're out of luck

This is not a one piece gator. Its says "contour fit" but its contoured based on a Velcro type attachment. The adjustment happens when you secure the two open ends in the back with Velcro. It can be adjusted depending where you attach the 2 rear flaps.

I bought the original face gator years ago and was hoping for the same quality. The neoprene seemed to be thinner than the original. It could however be thinner because of the fleece. I had a problem with it fitting comfortably. I ordered the largest they had, but I think the fleece doesn't allow it to stretch as much as it needs. It's still an awesome product. Kept me warm like advertised.

This is a game changer over scarves or buffs when it's too cold to have your face exposed. It is sooo nice not to have wet material over your nose and mouth from all the condensation! I've tried many similar products and this is by far my favorite. Many extend the neoprene over the chin, which makes the fit uncomfortable. Others are connected to a head covering, which I thought would be nice but those always push my little baby hairs out into my eyes. I can tuck them in, but with time, they just push back out. This also closes the gap for my beanies that don't quite cover my earlobes. I have hiked up hills with it and haven't found it difficult to breath, but could see if I was doing very intense cardio that it could be challenging, but still much easier than breathing through a Covid mask! :)
