Very unique rear lamp with wide/bright output
I bought two of these with the intent to use on my bike's seat stays. Since I already have a very bright rear lamp for my seat post the intent was to create a very bright triangle pattern for the rear of my road bike. It seems I hit pay dirt. I am very happy with the purchase! The mount on the lamp swivels and allows the user to use either horizontal or vertical position. The back of the mount is angled so this helps point the lamp the way that best suits the user. The rubber strap really didn't have a small enough hole for the hook to secure the lamp to a seat stay so I had to improvise by removing the supplied mini-hook. The mount is designed to work with a seat post and works fine that way. I found a way to make the lamp stay in place by using some tape and some wire ties. ~~~ This lamp has multiple settings but the thing that drew my interest the most is the fact that it can also function as a "white light". I tried this feature out and yes it can work as a low output front light. The setting that is most interesting is the one that alternates between "red and white" ( flashing ). I haven't tried that setting on the road yet but when I do I am going to look like an ambulance going down the road. On my first ride I had both set on low/steady ( low steady is still very, very bright ). Coupled with my seat post lamp on flash I was getting "A LOT OF RESPECT" from the motorist who were passing me. One car even moved completely into the opposite lane just to pass me even though I was riding the shoulder of the road. Later when I rode my local parkway I had a car pull off the side of the road just ahead of me. I figured he was so impressed by the output that he wanted to get a better look as I rode down the very dark roadway. ~~~ I have yet to use the brightest red settings or the flashing red/white mode. I'm getting enough attention as is so I'm fine using the lower settings. These output a very wide beam pattern typical of other lamps using the mini-led panels. Very visible from the sides as well. Micro USB charging works fine. The modes are as follows; steady high, steady low, steady white, alternating white/red ( flashing ), flashing red, flashing red fast SOS (?) I highly recommend the product. Good price for a great product.

Buyer beware - screw mount issue is real
I bought several of these for me and my kids. I really like the product as the light is very bright which makes it great for even daytime visibility, the only problem I have is that 2 of them have fallen off of the rubber mount. I found mine and used threadlocker glue to see if it helps keep it in there but my 8 year old son lost his and we can't find it anywhere. I've since glued the other one we have too. For a light that's designed to be "twistable" this is a very serious design flaw. I think the company that sells this has pretty good customer service so if you have problems I think they'd do what they needed to help resolve them but, for me, I prefer avoiding problems whenever I can.

Makes a statement
I got this for daytime running hoping for a very bright, distinctive light to alert passing motorists. In low light it is blinding, killer bright. Even in full daylight it is bright enough to draw attention. After several rides apparently it is, because I've noticed that cars are passing me with a much wider arc than before. I'm certain this is changing driver behavior -- as if reminding them there is a law in this state requiring them to give cyclists at least 3 feet of room when overtaking. The light itself appears well made. The rubber strap is substantial and easy on and off the seatpost so switching bikes is no bother. One pushbutton switch controls all modes in sequence. Best is the alternating white/red mode, and that is the one that makes the best statement in daylight (at night motorists might find it annoying). I was surprised to find the charge to last over 13 hours in the white/red mode left on continually. It will discharge some in the off position between rides though so I'd suggest recharging between long rests (it does not have a low battery warning). The recharge time is about 2-3 hours. I've had one rain ride and it kept ticking. So far I'm very impressed.

Failed from the start.
Failed from the start. First the plastic/rubber plug that covers the USB charging port fell out and could not be pushed or cajoled back into the port slot. Next after a short ride the screw holding the light onto the rubber mounting harness fell out and luckily my riding partner saw the light fall to the tarmac. Third the rubber strap that affixes the light to the seat post broke in half rendering the light completely useless. If you can keep the tail light dry and attached to your bike you will find it is plenty bright and visible. Just don't forget the rubber bands to hold the thing together. Sending it back today.Marketer has been extremely prompt in responding to the one star rating. They have assured me that the product issues have been fixed and agreed to send me a replacement at no charge. I will update this review after a couple rides with the replacement. I am pleased to report that the marketer is standing up and providing good after sale service.

Bought 2 - 1 is great the other is not working well.Company sent replacement.
I've revised the review below because the company sent me a replacement (slightly different model) incredibly quickly. Thanks you! These are great lights - really bright with lots of functions and the rubber strap is really handy (though not always long enough).Really, I would give 5 stars, but I bought two and one is having issues now - won't stay turned on and the white lights are definitely more dim than they were when it is on.

Great product. Very bright
Great product. Very bright. Discharges relatively quickly and it just stops. It does not fade to give you a hint that you have to re-charge. Still, I would recommend it for the helmet. Can be seen easily!
