NOPE!
Nope! The ring cutting tool does NOT cut 3/8" rings!I even asked PEX GUY (the seller) if it really did cut 3/8" rings and he told me it cuts 3/8. 1/2, 3/4 and one inch rings. The tool is even stamped; 1/2 and 3/4 inch rings! My question and his answer are here in the "Answered Questions" section. The anvil leg (opposite the cutter) will NOT fit into a 3/8” fitting.Kind of ticks me off. Now I am out $20.05 and wasted time.The tool might work fine on 1/2” and 3/4” rings, I don’t know. I already have an IWISS for those sizes that makes this tool look like a cheap knock off.Maybe I could grind down the anvil leg enough so it will go into a 3/8” fitting? Looks like if I did that, the anvil leg might break off.Hey PEX GUY! You there? How are we going to make this right?
