I bought this for my aunt as a birthday present so I haven't used it, however she says it's very cute. I did handle it briefly before boxing it up with some other things, and the plastic turned out to be softer than I expected, to the point that a little mishandle later and the belly popped off with minimum force. A little difficult to get back on without opening the plastic it came in. However this could be a positive thing when actually in use, but since it was a gift I won't know.

I love my Happy Platypus. I am a loose tea fan as there is no waste and the tea is compostable. This infuser makes me smile with every cup. It is fun and functional at the same time. It holds the tea securely allowing steeping without any tea escaping into the cup.

The arms need to be 2-3 mm longer and hands need more curve to grip cup. Being cute is best attribute

i didn't think this through. It's adorable, it works, just not for the travel mug I use at work.

I got this for my boyfriend. He's used it many times, and so far it does what it's supposed to do, while also looking super adorable. The only problem is that it doesn't hang off the side of a cup because it's too top heavy. So it'll float in your mug while your tea steeps, which is fine with my boyfriend.

This is the cutest little tea strainer. LOVE it. It's easy to load with tea. The little belly is very flexible and fits in and out of the platypus. The one thing that can get a little messy is trying to get the wet tea out of the platypus after use. But I also have had that experience with most loose leaf tea infusers that I've used. Recommend!

cute durable tea infuser with a fun vibe. The platypus tummy pops open to allow you to easily fill it with tea and once gently pushed in it seals up evenly so no leaves get out. It fits well into my most my mugs and because I love a large cup of tea it dangles nicely without falling off. The hands really don't support the tea infuser as I had assumed based on the picture. really the platypus stays in place because of the longer nose which gives it the ability to float well in the water. The nose is long enough to not dislodge itself from the rim of the mug regardless how full the cup or how big the mug, which makes it just a fun playful tea strainer to make my cup of tea enjoyable to drink from.My only challenge was trying to get it free of the tea. I had to make sure I got the water right into the corners while the tea was still wet, otherwise I couldn't get the leaves out to put a fresh batch in.
