does the black one have a slide out drawer?

Thank you for your interest in our Quartet Glass Dry Erase Desktop Computer Pad. Yes, the black one also has the pull-out drawer.

What are the best type of markers to use on this board?

I use Ultra Fine Tip Wet-Erase markers. I like them because it takes something wet (such as a paper towel) to erase the markers. With the board being made of glass, I have never had an issue with getting all of the marker writing off the glass. You can find the markers at local department stores (such as W*l-M*rt or find them on Amazon here: https://www.amazon.com/16678B-Wet-Erase-Overhead-Transparency-Assorted/dp/B002R5AEC0/ref=sr_1_9?keywords=wet+erase+markers+ultra+fine+point&qid=1660990120&sprefix=wet+erase%2Caps%2C81&sr=8-9

Which color do you like or purchase and why?

I purchased the white marbled design. It looks beautiful and easy to write on.

The marker it came with did not work. Any way to request a replacement marker at no additional charge?

Thank you for your inquiry. Please first try shaking and push in the tip of the marker until white comes out. If still not working, please call 1-844-715-3694.
