What a wonderful book! However the kindle edition ends abruptly
What a wonderful book! However the kindle edition ends abruptly, and I couldn’t be sure that the book had ended, or perhaps been truncated. There was no conclusion. It may have been the ending as the author intended, I’m not sure. He’s a wonderful writer, and the book is chocked full of wonderful information.

Great Tree of Life explanations
A must-read book on the Tarot and the Qabalah. This should be the companion book to The Dion Fortune Tarot Cards. With this book, you will understand the Tree of Life much better than other people's explanation.

Highly recommended.
Very well written, down to Earth (which is an achievement, given the topic), inspirational and often moving. Highly recommended.

Simple but effective
This is a deceptively simple little book.Originally published some years ago this modern version is filled with seeds just waiting to be planted in fertile ground. You could design an entire life of magic around the concepts found within.Recommended for all.

A must-read for aspiring adepts !
This is a very detailed and comprehensive overview of magic for any aspiring hermetic magician. Its insight and factual knowledge from start to finish are invaluable. I highly recommend it.

Very average read.
If you know a reasonable amount about the Qabalah, then this book will make more sense to you. Luckily, I do, and I understand the symbology. There are on-going meditations throughout the book, which may be helpful, but I certainly expected a lot more information on Magical images - I don't feel the book is titled very well as it gives the wrong impression of what is inside. It is a book I will read, but which will then get passed on as there is not enough information to make me keep it as a work book. It's an ok book, but nothing special in my opinion.

Magic
Gareth Knight's books are always full of fascinating information and this is no exception. It sounds like a contradiction but this magical book is very down to earth. A book which can be read many times cover to cover but will always have something new that catches your interest. A book to keep, let your friends get their own copy.

Excelent for the beginner
Excelent for the beginner. I wish that this had been available 60 years ago. It would have made things a great deal easier for me.

Absolutely delightful & almost magically instructive
Just a very good read for the curious in alternate realities, as are all of his other books. Abstruse subjects become familiar friends through Mr. Knight's pen.
