Fiddo No Bark Collar Shock Control Training System w/7 Adjustable Stimulation Levels (Manual included)

I purchased this product to replace a much more expensive collar that stopped working after a month of use. So far this product has worked miracles!!!First of all.. I have a very large doberman that seemed largely unphased by the last collar until it got to the top level of shock correction. And the collar itself never fit properly.. so most the time he would just shake until he got it to the side of his neck and would go crazy. The last collar also had a microphone built in that would shock anytime any bark was picked up.. including barks from the other dogs in this family. It really wasn't fair that my doberman was being shocked when the other dogs would bark. And.. in addition to that.. the collar broke after a month of owning it. I paid over $100 for that collar.. such a terrible buy.Fast forward to today.. and I am as pleased as I can be about the Fiddo collar. This collar gives a stern beeping warning upon the first bark. The first time that I put this on my dog he barked past the warning tone and was shocked. After that first encounter.. now the beep is just enough to get him to shut up. I have never seen him so quiet before in my life! It is truly a miracle. The collar fits great! Despite all of this efforts.. it so far has remained on the center of his neck where it should be.. and the lack of microphone eliminates shocks received from the barking of other dogs.I was worried about this product being to small when I first received the package.. but that has not been a problem. My doberman is over 100 lbs and the collar fits and works great to correct the problem in a humane way. I would highly recommend this product to anyone who is having trouble with there dog barking.

UPDATE: **This collar is already not working. I ordered the extra batteries for it, so I first tried that. It would beep every once in a while. Enough to keep the dog from annoying every neighbor in a mile hearing range. (Because she had already associated the beep with the corrective action.) Now, though, it's officially dead. No beeping or any action from that collar. Totally NOT worth it!Ordered this for my 32 lb mixed breed bull terrier. She is a wonderful dog but very mistrustful of men, especially men in uniform. Her bark is very ferocious. I needed something that she couldn't make a connection that I was administering. We got this, put it together very easily, trimmed the excess of the collar, and put it on our dog. We then had to leave & run an errand. She must have had an opportunity to bark & got the surprise of her life. Now all it takes is her barking once, with a beep from the collar, for her to hush up.The only con-when she scratches at the collar or shakes her head too much, the collar beeps. Freaks her poor self out!!

My husband and I just moved into an apartment and since it is a new area and house for my dog she tends to bark at every little noise and everyone that passes by. After receiving this and testing it out, my dog no longer barks while having this on. It does have to be at the highest lever because the other levels didn't faze her. She is a small dog with a big bark so I had to get this so our new neighbors wouldn't complain. It did fit big on her but it was easily adjusted. Another good thing is that she is not afraid of the collar. She learned not to bark after the first time it shocked her. When she does bark with the collar on, the collar gives her a warning and she knows she needs to stop or it will shock her. Overall I'm very happy with this collar. Very inexpensive as well. My only concern is where I'll be buying another battery since it is small about half the size of AA battery. It really did help a lot to stop my dog from barking.

We bought two for two very different dogs. The collar works well on our short-haired pit bull. She does not bark. However, the collar is majorly frustrating in that it does not stay tight against their skin. It doesn't have a mechanism on it that keeps it from slipping. I have to tighten it back up at least once each day. Generally we don't notice that it has slipped until the middle of the night when she starts her incessant barking. If I had to go back again, I would most likely choose a different collar.On our lab, the collar doesn't work at all because the shocking prongs don't reach through his hair to his skin to give him any sort of good shock when he barks. The prongs are extremely short. We think we could fix this by shaving a small section of his neck, but he would never let us get near him with a razor lol. Also, the slippage of the collar is so frustrating. Even if we did get the prongs to touch his skin, we would still have to tighten the collar every day. If I could go back again, I would choose a different collar.

I have a very chatty long haired german Shepard. He barked aggressively at everything and wouldn't stop. I just moved into my neighborhood and I was constantly letting him in and out because he was barking so much I didn't want to keep him out for to long.The first day we put it on the lowest setting, mind you he's a long hair german Shepard so it didn't do anything.The second day we tightened his collar and bumped it up a couple, the beeping alerted him but if our Neighbour was in the back yard he would continue to bark aggressively without any pause.The third day, I bumped that sucker all the way up. He starred barking and then I waited. He stopped. It didn't hurt him it just finally zapped him enough to get his attention.He now barks once or twice and huffs the rest. I can let him out for long periods of time.I would recommend this product to anyone that needs their dog to stop barking or bark less.
