Great quality! I absolutely recommend Okuma cold water reels.
Great reel! I didn't want to review to soon. It has now been 1 year of solid fishing/trolling with a downrigger and this reel is excellent. the counter work flawlessly, very smooth, castable without bird nesting the wire. Will happily continue to use this reel for many years. I would recommend this reel to all my friends and family. Thank you Okuma.

I think that they are the best product for the price that I have found
I guide for Salmon and Steelhead on the California North Coast Rivers. I bought two of these reels last year and this year I bought four more. I think that they are the best product for the price that I have found. I have used two other name brands but I have the best luck with the Okuma. I have found that with the Line Counter reel, the most common problem is that the line counter mechanism is the first thing to fail. I have used these new reels on at least 40 trips on the river and they have performed great. Not a single problem. My clients really like the looks and the feel of the reel.
