Drontal for Dogs Bone Shaped Worming Tablet Packs (Pack Size: 6 Tablets)

These are the worming tablets prescribed by my vet so I know this is a reliable brand. I have found that it is cheaper to buy them online and, of course, this saves the distress of a trip to the vet. They appear to be effective so I will continue to use them. The only problem I have is getting my dog to take them. They must have a strong smell and/or taste as my dog manages to find them no matter how I try to hide them. I have tried putting them in sausage, cheese, chicken - she finds them whatever I do. Even when I broke the tablets up and mixed the in her dinner, she still found them and managed to eat around the bits! However, this is a problem we have with every kind of tablet, not just these. Why don't manufacturers try putting the ingredients in capsules? Capsules don't have a taste or a smell and these are the only type of medication which my dog takes without any problem.

Great worming tablets for larger dogs. I have been using these for past two years now and although my Dalmatian has a delicate stomach she has no problem taking these. I have seen no sign of worms in her and she does not eat dead things in the field so am sure this is doing its job. Obviously, a lot cheaper than buying from the Vet so, no brainer. This site is good value for money and gives a fast delivery.

Haven't used these Drontal Plus tablets before but the benefit for me was that our dog eats them readily which he failed to do with the Sanacur that we had previously used. So far, so good, 2 tablets dose for our cocker spaniel and no sign of worms. Time will tell, but these seem to be a good treatment and the amazon price was cheaper than the vets. Postage was prompt too

Was hesitant at first but after reading lots of the reviews thought i would give these a shot and I'm glad i did. The amount in the packet is great as we have 2 huskies with a big weight difference so we were always forced into buying a different pack of wormers as there wouldn't be enough and that was with a cheaper brand. I'm very happy that someone is selling drontal at a more affordable price and will be using again. In the past certain wormers have hurt one of my dogs stomachs and had to go to the vets to get him some anti sickness medication...LUCKILY with these both dogs are totally fine.

Super quick dispatch and delivery (arrived earlier than expected). My retired Guide Dogs breeding stock had always been wormed using Drontal as active breeding stock, and I was worried about the cost of continuing that when she retired, as it is so expensive everywhere else, but equally didn't really want to change product. I'm so happy I found Petremedies! I ordered two packs of 6 for less than I would have paid for one pack elsewhere. There is no difference between the packs I received from Petremedies and those supplied via Guide Dogs for my other, still active breeding stock. When Drontal first changed from the round tablet to the bone shape, my dogs both refused to eat them, they would search them out of their food and spit them back out. Now they are flavoured, I have no problem at all and I know that the product works. Buy with confidence!

Got ourselves a new puppy and the breeder information stated Drontal had been used at 2 weekly intervals and we should continue until 12 weeks of age. Looked on Amazon and saw the pack of 6 for a great price( cheaper than a pack of 2 at a local large pet store) Ordeted the item and it arrived within the dates given. I have enough tablets for a year and will certainly order again . A dog is expensive to keep so any items you can buy on line at Amazon instead of from your vet keeps the costs down. I would definitely recommend this product

Drontel is recommended by many vet practices and convers a larger spectrum of cover for dogs than other brands. The bone shaped and gravy taste made my dogs love it. However it was easier to feed to a small dog like a treat but harder for larger dogs as it falls out their mouths like crumbs. My Advice is to hold the jaw up when they're eating it to avoid it getting lost. Also the price was great and packing was secure and undamaged

These were bigger than expected & our dog turned her nose up at them, they have quite a strong 'chemical smell'. She usually has Veloxa & takes them readily with a bit of primula cheese. I had to break these ones in half & smother them in primula to get her to take them. I will use the rest of the packet up, (this size will do for 3 doses) but not sure if I will buy again. Good price & delivery though, so it's the product not the seller that wasn't ideal.
