The earbuds I received are biased towards bass. IMHO they sound bad because they are unable of replicating mid and high range sounds. When using the earbud for music, I am immediately overpowered with the bass bias. While the deep thumping sounds are good with certain genres of music it is not good with my genres of music. When using the earbuds to take a phone call, the voice coming through sounds hollow and sometimes extremely difficult/impossible to understand. Overall, it's a good set of earbuds for the price. If you love thumping the bass, you'll love this headset.**UPDATE** I'm not sure what happened or how it happened, but the earbuds broke after about a month of use. I have earbuds that are 2+ years old so I do not believe that I'm overly abusive to my equipment. I have to place fault on the build quality.

These ended up being the worst earbuds ever. After only two weeks, the flange at the jack ripped. They didn't even last a month before the plastic casing around the mic broke off. I was able to put a piece of heat shrink around it to keep using the pause button, but made the microphone unusable. That all didn't matter much, because the wires in the flat cording shorted out less than a week later.On top of those problems, the earbuds were just plain heavy and even the smallest bud didn't stay in my ear very well.

I've owned mainly Sony brand earbuds for years. Today i used these for the first time. I work outdoors and instantly noticed that there was noise from the wind. I've never experienced this issue to that extent with earbuds before. Felt like it hurt my ears with the wind sound. The sound wasn't so crisp. Also the bass wasn't really there. Lastly, i don't like the placement of the mic. It's literally at the split. For the price it's decent. Seems you get what you pay for in my opinion.

In the beginning, I was very satisfied and happy with these earbuds. I place a big emphasis on sound quality and these worked very well. Emphasis on the "worked" part though. After just 2 weeks, these earbuds started to screw up on me. All of a sudden, the sound started to cut in and out, depending on the position the jack was inserted into my phone. If I held it extremely still and a very specific angle, the sound would come through loud and clear, but move one step or move your hand and the sound went away. Just to test it, I tried these earbuds on both my iPad and my computer as well, to the exact same conclusion. The connection just is not strong and after 2 weeks of occasional use, these are effectively garbage.Despite this disappointing development, I do have to praise the construction of the product, they are indeed very comfortable earbuds and work very well for telephoning: their voice came in very clearly and mine went clearly out. That was of course before they stopped working...Al--in-all, in my experience at least, these earbuds work well if you don't use them regularly and don't get surprised if they all of a sudden stop working.

I decided to try these for my 12 year old after using a slightly cheaper pair that I had to replace every three months or so. This time I thought I would try a different kind and maybe she would have better luck or at least get some use from the pause button. They didn't even last a week! After about two days the pause button quit working and now a few days later they are totally broken! my daughter uses her headphones when she watches videos on her iPad so they haven't been abused in any way. They don't leave the house. Would not buy again.

Amazing headphones on par with headphones in the one hundred dollar price range!!!I am shocked by the great sound quality of these. I have tried tons of headphone because my kids go through them. I was showing my son a music video on you tube from my laptop and while I waited for him to watch it I plugged these headphones into my iPhone and turned it on. It completely blocked out the music from the laptop on my lap and I felt like I was at a Bruno Mars concert. My iPhone was playing the son when I was your man and of you ever heard it there is a lot of piano playing and the sound quality was phenomenal on these headphones. I listen to the song all the time, but these headphones really made a difference. I can't wait to take them to the gym and workout. WOW!! They fit into my ears really nicely and they have several other types of ends to go into your ear for a perfect fit for anyone. I like the fact that the blue cable is long enough for my to put my phone in my pocket or have it in my pocket book while I am walking around.

As soon as I got these in the mail there was a problem. The "button" was not securely closed, it opened up right away. I secured it with tape because I didn't think it was that big of an issue. I think I had these for maybe 10 days, at the most, before one of the earbuds stopped working. I had to return these because it just wasn't worth the hassle.
