Starry Night Sky Explorer Win/Mac [Jewelcase]

WARNING!!!!! This is a VERY OLD program. The mac osx version is a POWER PC program and Mac OS X 10.6 and newer doe not support Power PC applications. I have also tried to run this on my Windows 10 system and it is not installing. Time to get my money back. I note that none of this information is listed on the Amazon web site/ product description nor on the Product its self. (Mac OS x 10.3 or higher/Windows XP and higher).

A good program, generally easy to use but navigating deeper into the softwear is not so easy and takes a little figuring out. The instructions are not as easy to follow as I would like.

I bought this for my son who wants to be an astronaut. It's easy to set up and use. Unfortunately, the program started malfunctioning shortly after we bought it. It may be an issue with the fact that my OS is Vista but we don't use this anymore. But it was fun while it worked.

This software is great for beginner or experienced stargazer.You can select your location and year, thereby going back or forward in time. Shows stars with and without drawings, so you can learn what they look like in the sky.
