Good with some modifications.
I feel it could have been made better, or fit better to my auto ordnance aom130, but it is still usable. The pad is a but smaller than the stock, and only secures by one screw. I got a longer screw which I recommend since the factory isn't long enough, clean the pad, then super glue it to the metal buttstock platee, and install the longer screw. I then slid my double carbine magazine puch farther back to cover up, the transition between the buttstock and the pad. Not the best design but the above made it worth while.

Not worth the money.
This product does not even come close to fitting the buttstock of a M1 Carbine. Not worth your time or money. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT IN ANYWAY, SHAPE OR FORM.

Greater pull on my M1.
Did not want to stay put until I glued it onto my metal buttplate. Now it gives me an inch greater pull on my M1.
