VooDoo Tactical 20-9324007000 Marksman Data Book Pouch, Coyote

My Voodoo logbook case just arrived today, mine is the coyote tan, they need more pictures, but my synopsis is as follows: Pros:large heavy double zippers, molle front and back, Velcro hook on the back, Velcro loop on front for name tag or patch, heavy material and stitching, elastic page holder thing, elastic pen/pencil holder on foldout, foldout has a small zippered pocket for nick-nacks Cons: has no waterproofing/resistant coating on the interior (would be nice), needs a retainer to hold the spine of the logbook into the crease of the case (I will modify mine with a piece of 550 cord to do just that), need more color options. Overall Voodoo has been hit and miss on their quality but for the price I can tolerate the cons...I'm happy and would recommend this, for the average Joe this is more than adequate and should provide years of service (short of an encounter with a elephant or IED)

Good cover. It will keep my Storm Tactical logbook (3-ring Precision Rifle log book)from getting trashed while at range, or being thrown in a range bag or pack. The fold-out pocket provides enough room for a calculator (or a cell phone with ballistics calculator app) and has 2 pencil/pen/cigarette holders. This is more of a "nostalgic-nice-to-have" item than a "critically needed" item now that I'm a civilian, but it's still very functional.

Fits a spiral-bound Boy Scout Handbook perfectly. The cover is designed to open to about 45° and limited by two straps. That means that you can't open it flat to use the book with the cover still in-place. I'm not using this for MOLLE mounting, so one (personal) problem is that between the MOLLE/PALS straps, there's a huge (approx. 4"x6") panel of hook Velcro with no supplied piece of loop Velcro to shield it. This is a huge source of potential fabric snags. I happened to have a wide strip of loop that I used to cover it up, but it's a non-matching color. I'm considering buying some matching coyote from Amazon to properly cover it.

Great love it and it comes with a "Impact Data Books" book. I made my own data log book because it did not say it had 1 in it. I thought it was just the cover. Seems will built and just what I wanted.

Wrong size! Size listed is not even close to actual measurements! Measures 2 x 8 3/4 x 6 1/2.

A lot more complicated than it needs to be. it is designed to work with the book which is sold separately. Both are way over priced

Perfect fit. Added some metal LBE Clips as extra insurance so it would not come off MOLLE on my ruck. It holds my DOPE Book, Scientific Calculator and other essential shooting info. I recommend this item.
