Beginner I definitely am.
So far I really like it, I watched soulful spinning on YouTube for my guide to get an idea and visual instructions. I have some very random diameter yarn so far, haha. I definitely feel like it's a great value for learning! I was using too much, I also reused some badly spun pieces for more of getting the motions and stuff down better. I definitely feel like this is something many can do with practice and highly recommend using this as your starter. If you also need a niddy noddy and don't want to spend a lot till you know this is for you Etsy has quite a few 3d printed options. I ran my hand down the shaft and used my nail to smooth any rough spots, there was only 2 little snags which smoothed easily on the spindle. Awesome value highly recommend, love the roving colors I got, very pretty. I'm sure they're random as to what you'll receive. After I get this down I'm definitely gonna look into undyed and then try my hand at dyeing as well but yeah for practice and learning this is great it has everything you need aside from a niddy noddy.

Great value for beginners
Great deal, shipped fast and arrived well-packed for travel (spindle protected). Comes with instructions as well as contact info in case you need more support. The wool I received is in two bundles, one light blue and one darker. The spindle itself seems to have good weight to it. It's nothing fancy, but it is well put together and should do the job just fine. Definitely recommend.

Never knew I could spin yarn!
Perfect! A nice well built and well weighted spindle and soft, easy to learn with wool. I got a rich purple and a soft lavender for my two colors. The instructions are kind of hard to parse together but they have a URL to a great youtube video. Shipping was super fast, too.

Love it!
This drop spindle is awesome! Great to work with. The added roving fiber is beautiful and a nice way to get started. We received a very light purple and a darker lilac purple, both with a hint of grey. Fast shipping too... We got it four days after ordering.

Great package
I bought this spindle to learn how to spin. It’s a great package with enough wool to get you started , and she has good videos on YouTube as well. It’s a great spindle, and I expect to be using it for a long time!

Great starter kit
This was a great starter kit. I wanted to learn how to use the drop spindle and this was the perfect choice for me. I love the weight of the spindle, there was enough fiber to start to get the feel for it at and it got here very quickly all for a great price. I would recommend this to all my friends wanting to try to make their own yarn.

Great for beginners
I purchased this as a gift for myself after Christmas. It came quickly and has everything you need to get started. The spindle is easy to use - but the process does take practice! So don't get discouraged if it seems to go "wrong" at first. I plied the two I received together after spinning separately to make the final product seen in the picture. It's not perfect or even throughout, but with practice, it will get better. I look forward to ordering more fiber from this seller!
