Combo Board - Chalk Board/Dry Erase Board - 24"x36"

I got this to replace my kids' double sided easel that took up way too much space and we are al very happy with it. Super lightweight, it was easy to mount, and both boards work great. Chalk writes smoothly and the dry erase crayons we use work great on it too. Also the crayon cleans easily off the chalkboard side with water when lines stray. The only problem I had was that there were some dents and little holes in the back of the board, the plastic wrapping came ripped, and some old tape stuck was to the frame. Im not sure if it was damaged in shipping or before that, but it was clearly around for a long time before I got it.

I like the size and the features of this chalkboard. It is perfect for our homeschooling. However, I have to admit that it arrived with a broken corner and after repairing that, we continued to use it. We did not return because it was usable after our repair and we did not want to wait for a replacement. After a month of use (probably 5-10 minutes a day) the whiteboard material is already starting to peel from the middle. I will upload pictures later and add them to this review. I would say that we have used this chalkboard lightly because while we use it every day, we only use it for about 5 minutes every day to jot down date and to practice a letter every day.

It’s exactly the size I need to homeschool. However it was slightly damaged. The corner was a little crimped. The dry erase marker and holder that was included was damaged and last but not least the middle of the board where the chalkboard and dry erase connects is slightly separating. But gorilla glue can fix that.

Very strange - this was received in damaged condition - the white board was bent and was not securely fastened to the frame. And the mounting hardware was smashed. but when I attempted a return, I was told it was not eligible for return because it contained a dangerous substance. What? It's a chalk board. What is dangerous about that? Weird.

It came a day late and the marker was busted and the little brackets to hang it with we're smashed to pieces. The outer shipping box was fine.
