It’s odd to be wowed or excited by a can opener, but this Joseph Joseph can opener delivers. The hinge action is really satisfying and there’s great purchase on the handle when using it to pry open a can. The traditional can opener works well and opens the lid within the circumference of the can, so it makes it easy to use for draining. The handles feel solid and I expect this to last a very long time.

Doesn’t turn easily

Bought one for my niece after having mine for years. Works better and comfortable to use than any can opener I have had.

I'm probably biased because I implicitly trust Joseph Joseph products to just /work/. I have small hands and this cuts through both normal sized as well hefty Costco sized tomato cans like butter. No strain on my hands at all, with smooth action and really easy to clean. I will be buying more as housewarming gifts.
