Redgear Shadow Blade Mechanical Keyboard with Drive Customization,Wired Spectrum Led Lights, Media Control Knob and Wrist Support(Black)

Writing this review after almost 3 years. Worked fine under heavy load as I am hardcore gamer. RGB works fine. Typing feel is good. Was having some issues with W key but it got fixed after some deep cleaning. Update: As of today Aug 8, my keyboard is facing issues multiple key register double keys. So it's safe to assume it's unusable now. 4 years of hardcore gaming and work. I'm satisfied.

So it's been some time since I got this keyboard for around 2.2K and I am typing this review from this keyboard itself. It's been more than a year now and to be honest, since the past month or so I have started to notice a lot of problems. I play FIFA a lot and the 'L' key is used for the ground passes and since that was the key that was the most used, it randomly stopped working but then weirdly once I got angry and smacked the key really hard and it started working just fine. Then there is another problem that is sometimes the shift and ctrl keys just would not work until I press them hardly and sometimes even if I press any key lightly, it registers 2 times. Most of the time if I have any problem with any key my only workaround will be to smack the key as hard as I can and it works every time. Well, this was for longevity. About typing experience, it is good, not the most stabilized keyboard you will ever get and it does not sound like those expensive keyboards but for what it's worth is, it is pretty fine. The travel is good, I have the blue clicky switches so they make a good amount of sound. You would not like to use it if someone else lives in your room especially when they are asleep. The software is pretty good, you have a good amount of options for the backlighting but you can not turn it off which I don't understand in the mornings or under the lights. The gaming experience is pretty normal until a key that is vital in the gameplay stops working. Also, the volume knob is a great addition and so is the palm rest, the palm rest is not the most comfortable out there but something is better than nothing. Overall it is a good keyboard I am not sure if it is still the best at this price but your money will not be wasted if you buy this. I am pretty happy with this. Hope this review helps.

Won’t be an issue for most users. -The USB Cable might have been designed a little more conveniently(tilt adjustable), because when using a laptop, it seems to be a little bit inconvenient to manage that cable. -The added wrist rest is good but its hard to attach and it gets detached easily if you keep moving your KB a lot. #REVIEW Redgear Shadow Blade is one of the most affordable and latest mechanical keyboards sold on Amazon .First of ,you may be thinking why a mechanical keyboard ? Why is everyone so crazy about this typewriter-like sounding device which is heavier than a traditional membrane keyboard ? The reason I prefer a mechanical keyboard for gaming is ,It is way more durable than a traditional membrane keyboard .Also the keys are very fluid and fast to type on. All keys have anti ghosting. Which are not seen in your standard membrane keyboards, you can probably press 5 keys down before ghosting occurs, that's it, any additional key presses after those five will not register (they'll become "ghosts"). With my testing so far, there is definitely merit to their claim. When I pressed down across the length of the keyboard with my palm, nearly all of the keys registered. Obviously, with this method, it's nearly impossible to tell which keys I've pressed down, but from what I can tell no ghosting occurred. There is AT LEAST a 10-key rollover, enough for each of your fingers, so you shouldn't have any issues with ghosting in a normal setting. It has a dedicated knob for controlling media, like play, pause volume Up and Down settings...also then light around the Knob can be turned off and has an added spectrum mode(blink profile) The keyboard is heavy since it has a metal platform, and good quality clicky keys.. FOR GAMING or JUST for TYPING ? Well ,this is where mechanical keyboard excels. You can use it for any purpose,whether it is for office use ,home or hardcore gaming ,These are the perfect choice. After playing a couple of games I found the keyboard is really fast and responsive .Even in a dark environment the key letters are perfectly visible with its LEDs. WORTH BUYING? Definitely a must buy if you want an affordable ,good quality and long lasting mechanical keyboard at this price bracket.Surely not going to disappoint you. Keys work fine ,provide good feedback ,have great look RGB LEDs and much more. i HOPE IT HELPS.

Every keyboard sustain for 8-10 months, i bought twice but faced same issue. First time got warranty claim and received the replaced unit which also stopped working after 3 months, just after 1 month of warranty period. second time i claimed warranty and when they received the product they rejected warranty claim because their pickup partner damaged the product. The company is part of Imagine marketing aka BoAt where their employee don't know about this.

After 2 year using this keyboard I faced a problem in arrow keys. Left arrow key work as down arrow key and up arrow key start functioning as multiple function like decreasing the volume when press up arrow key. Down arrow key start working as left arrow key and so on.

Whoever siad in their reviews that this is clicky or noisy has never actually used a proper mechanical keyboard in their lives.
