This lift top coffee table, although more pricey than the cheaper MDF composite "wood" coffee tables on Amazon and Wayfair, is a sturdy piece of hardwood furniture that fits well with my chaise sofa. Also, the natural aged brown finish and MCM style compliments my living room decor. It was super easy to securely attach the four legs on the bottom of the table which was the only assembly required. And the best part was the lift top mechanism was already assembled and attached - the major selling point of purchasing this solid wood coffee table. Based on the quality of the acacia hardwood and ease of lifting and closing the preassembled lift top I anticipate this table will last for years.

This is solid wood. Took less than 5 minutes to assemble - just attach legs to body. Drawer action is smooth. Beautiful wood grain. Looks great in our mid century beach cottage. I had looked at so many but glad I got this one. So sturdy and beautiful.

I LOVE the Draper line. I have the TV stand and was impressed by the quality of the real wood and how great the product is. The coffee table is just as great. Buying the bookcase next. ;)

So these things are solid and very substantial. The scale is right compared to other side tables which are very tiny…ive bought others. Assembly is easy and the finish on them is great. Matches real teak well. The bonus…which you don’t have with other tables is space behind the drawers. There is about 4” between the back of the drawer and the back of the stand. I drilled out a 2” hole in the center of the back of the nightstand and poked a cord through to a small surge protector and voila!! you can now charge plenty of devices while in the drawer. So phones, watches, you know, etc don’t have to be out. It also provides a really clean look for small lamps. This doesn’t hinder the drawer operation in any way. There are two things I’d change… 1) offer more handle colors like brushed gold (spray paint fix) 2) soft close drawer slides. The stock slides are cheap but work. I’d add some blum slides.

Very sturdy piece. It really feels solid although its veneer doesn’t necessarily have a genuine wood feel. Having said that, it looks nice but just be careful what you use to clean it. Wood cleaners don’t seem to work well on this and leave streaks and smudges .. One more thing, make sure to tighten the legs properly. After moving it around a few times , one of the legs became loose but was easy enough to readjust.

I love all of the Draper teak wood products. There are more that I want to add to my collection. I have 4 beautiful pieces now. Mid century modern is my favorite style and the Draper collection is just petfect in that style in the teak.

Was so impressed with mcm draper entry cabinet , I went with the Draper mcm lifttop coffee table .It also arrived on schedule and 95% assembled , attached the 4 legs and bam , done deal ! This item is also sturdy and will go the distance , this is also quality and design driven Simpli Home can be regarded as high end RTA products ,impressive and worth it !

This is a pretty little end table. Assembly was very easy. I am a 60-year-old woman, for reference, and unpackaging it took about 20 minutes, assembling took exactly 10. The bottoms of the legs are rough, so I put felt pads on the bottom so they wouldn’t damage my floor. After I had it assembled and turned it upright I discovered that the wood is severely cracked. So now I have the option of disassembling it, repackaging it, and hauling it to another town to return it, or just dealing with it the way it is. I have an entertainment center and a cabinet coming from the same company, so I’m concerned that there will be similar problems. I’m not sure yet what I’m going to do. EDIT: I contacted customer support and they’re sending me a new one. (Still nervous about the condition it and the other pieces will be in, but I have my fingers crossed.) The end table is a minor pain to return, but I should be able to do that today.
