Fox Run 5210 Hanging Wire Basket Set, Iron, 3-Piece, Assorted Colors

Bought for my uncle who is visually impaired. Helps him sort out his fruits & veggies and knows what he put where.

People who purchased this last year may have had that choice available to them to email the seller their color choice, but not anymore. Now, the sale is fulfilled by amazon and colors can not be selected. I emailed both amazon and the company, the company said they have no control over the color. If you try, you will get the run around. My item shipped before hearing back from amazon. Basically, the response I got was, there is a green basket offered on the site, for about 5 dollars more to ensure the color I wanted, and I chose not to pay the extra money and go for the random color.The item is very cute. I wanted to order green, but ended up receiving a random color, and so I got red. I am so glad I got red, because it is the cutest color. The only regret I have is that these baskets are too small for me. My fault for not taking heed to the measurements. The bottom basket, the biggest of them all, can not fit my loaf of bread.It gets smashed and hangs out. So, I want to find the exact same basket in a bigger size.Also, you might want to consider purchasing a nice bracket for your basket, so that you can hang it virtually anywhere!5 stars for being so darn cute.

This is actually the second one of these I have ordered. The first one I use to hang in my kitchen and keep the fruit out of the reach of the preschooler and toddler who would eat their weight in bananas every day if I let them. I really liked how well it worked and it has held up nicely, so I ordered another. This one is to hang in our shower to hold bath toys and shampoo, body wash, etc. Our shower is made funny, and there is no room for a corner organizer, and we have a removable shower head, so a caddy that goes over that was out of the question. There was already a hook in the ceiling above the tub so we hung it from there. It keeps the soap off the edge of the tub where the toddler likes to dump them, keeps the toys together and allows them to drip dry, and keeps my razor up high, out of the reach of all the kids. It works well in the kitchen and bathroom.

Came in red, not the color I wanted, but hubs loves it. I thought I ordered the silver according the picture. No biggie though. I’d just recommend checking and verifying your color choice before ordering. Fits perfect in our kitchen. We had to get a little chain extender to make it just our level (we’re short :) ), but other than that, works well. It’s currently holding half a bag of Idaho potatoes. We plan to add onions in the middle, and garlic on the top. I’ll probably order another one for our fruit.

I have an older basket like these & was hoping these would be of similar quality. They're not. The chains are pretty much the same but the baskets themselves are more flimsy. They are also not as deep as my older one and there is less distance between the baskets. The shorter distance is probably a good thing because it keeps you from putting too many items in the basket. It also makes the baskets hang higher, which can be helpful in some situations. The baskets work for what I bought them for. I was able to put 8 small oranges in the top basket, 16 in the middle basket, and 26 in the bottom basket. The bottom basket could have held more if there was more distance between it & the middle basket. Would I buy them again? Possibly. But not before looking at yard sales & thrift stores to see if I could find some of the older ones. For the quality I think they're overpriced.

I am so glad I bought this particular 3-tier hanging basket for my kitchen. I have this tiny kitchen in my 1-bdrm apartment. These baskets enabled me to stuff my envelope spices/small side dinners in the first and second basket (i.e., spagetti sauce, chili seasonings, Knorr sides, muffin packets, etc.). I put regular bottled spices in my lower basket and gained 3 empty shelves in a "spice cupboard" for other stuff. My daughter just put it up for me on 10/02/2011; she used a drill to put in the hook and molly in the ceiling. I have approximately 7 to 8 pounds hanging in the three baskets altogether, and the baskets handle the weight. I bought the Fox Run out of a lot of choices simply because a review stated (not exact words), "I put 5 lbs. of potatoes in the bottom basket, and it held together!" The red Fox Run 3-Tier baskets are very pretty in my tiny kitchen. Thank you Amazon for the excellent price....lower than Target!!!!!KathyArvada, Colorado

this is a really good buy, I wish you could pick your own color (I got red, I have a white kitchen) but you get what you pay for and I can get past it. if you need a basket to hold your garlic some shallots and some small potatoes this is for you. I wouldn't recommend putting heavy items in it like huge costco size russet potatos or giant onions. this is a good value a good basket that will get a lot of use at my home I am pleased and do recommend it IF you aren't needing it for huge heavy items the chain is too thin for that

Got this and didn't noticed it comes in whatever color they send so I was surprised when I opened it and it was red. Luckily my kitchen has a lot of red in it so it worked out fine. We have all our onions from the garden in it and although it hangs sideways a tiny bit it serves it's purpose. For the price I can't really ask for much else, it' was cheap and it's hold all our onions just fine so I'm happy. Compared to the cost of some others I've seen this was a steal.
