Interesting, but not my first choice of guidebook.
Guide books to Turin seem to have vanished these days. This Wallpaper guide is no longer published from what I can tell (it no longer features on the Phaidon website as part of the travel guide collection) so I ordered this copy on Amazon from a third party supplier who still had some in stock. The guide book itself is ok, but its very limited in terms of the information it provides - this isn't a Lonely Planet or DK guidebook, and neither does it really pretend to be. It's certainly good if you're looking to delve into the more unusual and less known aspects of a city, with a strong focus on art and design. Information on practical matters like getting around is very limited as are the sections on eating out and hotels. That said, you can get all that information and more on-line these days. So you could use this guide alongside some good internet research. Overall, I wouldn't opt for a Wallpaper guidebook as my first choice as they don't really provide what i'm after. I went for it on this occasion as it was by far the most up to date (published in 2011!) guide on Turin that I could find. I've also downloaded the Turin section from Lonely Planet's 2016 Italy guidebook for more practice details.

Perfekt für Kurzurlaub
Wenn man nicht allzu sehr in die Tiefe gehen will, nicht mehr als 4 Tage Zeit hat am Urlaubsort und einen Designanspruch, ist dieser Reiseführer genau der Richtige!
