Is this deeper than other MAC wagons?

Yes, 3 inches deeper than the original. Makes a big different example. It’s also bigger/ heavier, but for me worth it for more capacity and higher walls.

Are the wheels loud on cement /gravel ?

Unfortunately, the wheels are quite loud on the sidewalk where there are grooves couple feet. Very surprised and disappointed to find this out after reading these exact answers when I bought the wagon. It's pretty awful on gravel.

how is it in beach sand?

It is better on wet sand then dry sand. It is better than wagons meant for grass or pavement. If the Sand is very loose and dry it requires quite an effort to push it. But since it has a handle in the front and a handle on the back two people can move it through the sand reasonably easily.

Can you get a canopy for this

unfortunately, this wagon does not have a canopy option
