Good Value, Good Service
This shock mount works great with my Panasonic MC 200 shotgun mic on the end of a On Stage MBP7000 Handheld Boom Pole , with a 10cm Micover Puffin Wind Diffusion Windscreen for Shotgun Microphones . Does just what a shock mount is supposed to do--it isolates the mic from the boom pole. HD Toys got it to me promptly, and it arrived in good shape. This product isn't an industrial-strength shock mount. If you use it every day and bang it around, it probably won't last more than six months or so. But if you use a boom pole only occasionally, like I do, and you take reasonable care when using it, the shock mount should hold up fine. It's a good value for the money.

Nice product, though not quite the right fit for Sennheiser MKE600..
This product arrived as advertised with all of the advertised adaptors which is very nice. It is well made but for my intended purpose of mounting my Sennheiser MKE600 mic on my video camera, it might require some adjustment. The mic is just a bit smaller diameter than needed to fit tight in the suspension of this product. I have put an extra two twists in the horizontal bands on each end and that helps hold the mic from slipping. I will do the same with the vertical bands and that should do the trick well enough. For a slightly "fatter" mic, this would be ideal as delivered. I also really like that it is adjustable for the horizontal angle of the mic. Even though I need to make a few adjustments, I will still rate this product as excellent.

Great starter Shockmount
Used this shockmount on a few shoots now, and its worked great. The mic does tend to slip forward when jostled hard enough, but an easy fix using a rubberband as a stopper on the back end of the mic. I do plan to upgrade to a Rode Blimp set up for outdoor shoots with high winds, but I will keep this guy around for indoor shoots. The shockmount does exactly what it's intended to do, which is eliminate/reduce handling noise while in use with a boompole or mounted to a camera via hot/cold shoe. Although you could also use it like a pistol grip mic holder as well. For around $20, this is perfect until you are ready to invest in a much more expensive system.

Great product!
Arrived very fast considering the massive winter storm that caught everyone off guard, item was exactly as described and works well with the H1 Zoom so thats good, it also holds the shotgun mic very well and snug enough so you wont have to worry about it while shooting... This shockmount gets all the stars! Thanks again guys for quick shipping!

It's the small things that make the difference
Overall, the build is expected with most shockmounts like these at this price. Plastic with bands. The problem here is not with the build but rather the bands they used. They're just too stiff to provide to do the job properly. There's no room for vibration and it just passes through the stiff bands to the microphone to where you'll still get unwanted noise. For near still use, these are fine to use, but if you expect to be mobile with your camera, find a different shockmount. One that's larger in diameter for holding the bands as well so that there's more room for your microphone to bounce around in to absorb the vibrations. The only way I found this to be useful is to change the bands to some normal rubberbands around the house, and at a standstill on a tripod or monopod. Don't even consider using this with a stabilizer or shoulder rig.

Pretty useful tool, odd design creates structural weakness.
I like this tool, but it needs to be packed very carefully when not in use. I didn't pack it carefully enough inside my pelican camera case, and it broke during transport. Holes in the plastic rings which hold the rubber mic supports make the frame weak. I am not sure what the holes are there for. Seems like an odd design to me. I should be able to glue it back together, and I will attempt to add plastic over the holes in an attempt to strengthen the frame.

Super for the price
This is a great product. I haven't been using it for super long, but it seems pretty durable. The bands are a tad bit loose, but hey, for the price, I really can't complain about it since it isn't very bad at all. As long as the mic isn't completely vertical, it holds up pretty well. The hotshoe mount is really nice too if you're shooting single-system on a dslr or if you're on a run-and-gun rig.

Came broken with missing parts
The product is decent. I ordered two. But one of them came with missing parts and broken in the place that connects the cilinder to the adapter. I guess the plastic it's made of is not durable at all.
