works great lights up well. After 6 months the solar panels are so milky that it won't light anymore. Very disappointing because it was a gift. Buying new batteries is not an option because the solar panels got so milky it can't absorb the sun and work. I'll have to search for a better type solar light for the flag pole. I had noticed over time that it was not as bright as it was when new only 6 months prior. Buyer is out $30 and the gift receiver has no gift now either.

Amazing. + 4 month update**
20ft in the air and lights up the ground in about a 15 ft circumference. This is a very dependable flag pole light - about a year old and as bright as day 1.4 months later the light faded A LITTLE BIT instead of shining to the ground (from my 22ft flag poleIt shines about half way down the pole. Plan on taking it down to clean it, but can NOT complain this light is awesome.

No light after about 45 days.
Worked for a while. After approximately 45 days, it stopped working. I haven't pulled it off the pole yet to see if it's repairable or not due to the winter weather. Time will tell, but I guess you get what you pay for.
