Sante Classics Women's Poly Microfiber Caftan Acadia One Size

(I wrote this review for Avidlove slips to go under my 6 Sante Classic kaftans, but the review tells all about these beautiful kaftans so read on!I bought two of these slips XLs (black and nude) to go under my new fave Sante Classic microfiber kaftans ($25 each) (which I now have six of) and I'm now buying an additional XXL nude slip because I wear them both (the slips and the kaftans) all the time. The old XL slips fit fine and didn't shrink and wash well but I'm thinking an XXL will fit a little looser (it's stretchy but not clingy.) I'm 5'9" and weigh about 170 lbs. I've gained 20+ pounds lately so don't fit into my old clothes and can't wear anything tight around my waist because of a digestive disorder, but I've found to my surprise (at 70) that I can still be beautiful comfortable and convenient by alternating these gorgeous comfy kaftans/slips--in bed, at home, at the computer, at church, running errands. The slips are comfy and long enough to make the light kaftans "decent" (you can--sort of--see through them if you stand in the light just right, so they require a slip unless you're at home and your hubby prefers seeing through your kaftan (or doesn't care one way or the other hahah.) The kaftans are bright, beautiful, traditional designs (about 30 different styles in the microfiber style--I haven't tried the satin ones)--and I have had a million compliments on them. Well, in a year, about 20. Really. That's not bad! I found them worn by a church friend who gave me the brand to look up on Amazon. The kaftans ship in about two days, never wrinkle, wash & wear instantly, never fade, never change in any way that I can tell. I wear them so much I'll probably pull some threads eventually, but I can get a friend with a machine to reinforce a seam if necessary, as the fabric is really just two squares and a neckline. The slips are all-around great too. The colorful designs allow me to drop food all over the front if I like, or whatever.... I like the multicolor ones best but there is a color for every preference. I live in these clothes in six varied bright colors and designs--in comfort and ease--and I don't miss my old clothes. I wash the kaftans after two day-long wearings which is why I have 6 outfits. Laundry every 2 weeks.... Not bad for a complete new wardrobe for under $200...! :) I'll have to figure out something else for winter though (I wear the kaftans spring/summer/fall with black sandals, black purse and/or a black shawl) but I'll be back to sweatshirts and loose pants for the winter--and some loose dresses I guess. I still have some somewhere but I don't want to wear anything else. BTW, I love Avidlove slips packaging. Do a closeup on the photo! :) Some nice working class cooperative somewhere faraway has struck it rich by producing one quality item in 3 colors and 5 sizes. Good for them!
