Is the Jandy lid/flap assembly compatible with this valve?

The holes line up, but the seal may not be perfect. We do have replacement flap assemblies if you need it.

Woulld this work on the "inlet" side from the pond to the pump? (Not the output side of pump)

I would not put this check valve on the inlet side of a pump. Outlet side only.

Can one use a regular pvc cement to glue this cpvc valve to a regular pvc pipe?
