A lot of action and great acting,especially by Kate Winslet and Woody Harrelson.(Kate plays a real nasty Russian,you just want to reach in your tv and slap her).kind of sad ending.

The movie provides moderate to fast pacing that keeps viewers intrigued between adrenaline pumping scenes. Don't be surprised if you catch yourself holding your breath and clenching your fists more than once.In conclusion, Triple 9 is a very well done film that offers more worthy scenes and attributes than this review is able to acknowledge. Watch the movie once and I'm sure you will watch it again, and again. Cool flick.

some surprise, good action, and what i like is the efficiency of the gang here. there is a backstory simplified with implications (his son being cared for by the spooky aunt for example). affleck carries his role with perfection again, i may hate him for his ability to just look down at the ground and convey a scene completely (its a james dean thing imho). woody, fknA wody, the master of the comb-over disturbed actor look (sorry Cage, its woody now) is perfect. this movie balances emotions with action, and my favorite part is watching a movie where i dont see gaps and stupidity in the plot considering who the bad men are here.this may sound weird but the violence in the movie is purposeful. it will bother you when deployed but nonetheless there is a sharp edge constantly through the movie as we want our bad guys to succeed until the 3 9's plot comes about, at which point we are in a quandary for who to root for and what will happen next.this may not sound accurate to a lot but this movie is about family. work family vs. biological family. the evil folks are family bound, so there is a current to the flow all uniting around family relationships to some degree. i am thinking of the police associates as their own family.watch it, i didnt ffwd once!

If you like grit, suspense and a twisty storyline well put the popcorn on because this is your movie. You'll need to break out the soap and water after watching this. There are more dirty cops than clean ones. It makes you a little afraid to call the police if you needed to. One of the reviewers said this movie is unrealistic and impossible. My response to that is this: Uhm....it's a movie so there's supposed to be some theatrical leeway. But I also say this: After living in Atlanta during the early 90's when it was fairly common for cops to be that dirty, I'd say calling this movie unrealistic is naive. In 1993 a group of Atlanta area police officers was arrested and convicted of robbery and murder. They even committed at least one robbery while they were on duty. Watch the news, people. This movie is VERY realistic....although in light of what that says about the world we live in....I wish it weren't.

With a strong cast of name-recognition and award-winning actors this comes off as incoherent and cliched. Performances are good as are individual scenes, but the problem is script and direction. I simply doesn't hand together that well.

This is a very exciting and suspenseful action movie. It has a star-studded cast with great acting and an intriguing story-line that kept me on the edge of my seat. This movie gave you the grit and grime associated with being a cop on the mean streets of the inner city and the hazards that they face on a daily basis. But as the movie portrays not all the cops abide by the law and that is what makes this movie appealing and intense. There is much profanity, nudity, and drug use so it is not for everyone. One drawback is Woody Harrelson. He seems to always go overboard in his character portrayals. And this is another instance where he overacts in dialogue and acting. But there is so much action, car chases,and suspense to keep the viewer interested and intrigued. Overall, this is a highly entertaining movie.

I watch his movie five times in a row this is definitely one of the top five movies I've seen this year is incredibly complex got a lot of characters of a B quality even got Norman Redus what are we having him but she'll add you for street this is questions great and great and obviously complex film especially with Kate Winslet plays a Russian mobsters.com who want to her sister Mary's even have a bed chjedyl efgiofhor ready to go doesn't look like much from the surface but this film is packed with Raiders complex in nonlinear script writing is well as a complex in any complex cop goes bad mixes with soldiers coming back from a rack and going to crime getting involved in the deep dark age of things it is worth every minute
