Bosch GWS13-50 5 In. Angle Grinder

Durable and powerful

I use mine to run a Graff wood carving disc (3 carbide teeth). This grinder is very powerful and it only bogs down when I accidentally let the disc dig in. I'm very impressed. My only complaint is that the diameter of the motor area is too large to grip with my right hand for any length of time. I have to hold it by the rubber protector where the power cord goes into it.

Excellent grinder for cutting and heavy grinding, wouldn't use it for much else. High quality, acceptable for professional use.

Use instead of 7 inch grinder. Very heavy duty.

Powerful. Hard to bog this one down while grinding fiberglass.

It looks and feels like a powerful grinder. I purchased it along with the Bosch adjustable depth guide/dust port. They mate perfectly Just click to fit. First use to cut out a an aluminum sliding glass door fin against metal siding. Three times the blade pinched against the flimsy siding and bound up the motor. Seems to run the same but I know I have compromised the motor.A tool this heavy should be more powerful. I had to run home and grab my 7" dealt grinder which ran through the job like butter. Admittedly I used q thin abrasive wheel on the Dewalt and 5" diamond metal cutting wheel on the Bosch. But really I know tools and it should not have bound us so easily. Next time I will spend more money for a 13 amp tool. This is not worth the weight.
