This retrofit kit contains everything you need to swap your old, blacked-out single-xenon (low-beam xenon only) projectors for powerful new bi-xenon (both low- and high-beam xenon) projectors. Using the exact same mounting points, it makes retrofitting quick and easy. And, most importantly, it will take your to the next level – just check out the test pictures! This is way beyond what the majority of OEM projectors can achieve. The Optimus is an incredibly bright bi-xenon projector, enabling you to use D2S OEM and D2H bulbs, including the most powerful options from Osram and Philips. You will literally outshine the competition. With available colour temperatures ranging from 4,300K to 6,000K, the crystal-clear 3.0-inch lens throws a wide low beam with a bright hotspot and sharp cutoff. As for the high beam? It’s like the sun.Such a light output would not be possible without efficient ballasts. If you’re happy with the ballasts that you’ve already got, simply leave them in place. Alternatively, add a set of our Aharon digital 35W ballasts to your order. The Aharon ballast has – as opposed to many other aftermarket units – been tested to generate a full 35W. It comes in a rugged and extremely compact housing perfect for retrofitting, and its in-wire starter warms xenon bulbs in as little as five seconds. The Aharon ballast is also Canbus-proof, so you won’t get any bulb failure readings on your display, and the original beam level system will not require any adjustments. It’s the perfect ballast to complement the included wire harness, which connects directly to the original wiring. A high beam splitter is also included, making for easy integration of the bi-xenon mechanism. Power supply is strong, steady and reliable.Lastly, this kit provides every single part that you will need for retrofitting. In order to keep the price low, we have however assumed that you will keep your existing xenon

Putting in the new projectors was very easy using the screw template
I have owned a 2004 BMW ZHP with ZKW projector bowl burn out for 5 years. Very little light from the burnt out Bi xenons and had to run with Fog Lights on to be able to see at night. I had thought about doing this retrofit for years and when one of my fog lights fell out of my bumper I ordered the kit. My hesitation was mainly the worry of old plastic pieces breaking and maybe completely ruining the lights and having to buy the new ones for from 800 to 1100 per side. I did break some latches on disassembly but enough held up to put everything back together. Putting in the new projectors was very easy using the screw template. Did have difficulty with the new shrouds. These must be glued. After a couple of failed attempts with JB Weld and then super glue used minimally to prevent a mess..I saw a video where the guy loaded up the inside of the shroud with JB weld Clear and roughed up the metal surface of the projector..and this time success (used tape to hold tight while setting overnight. My other hesitation was concern over the wiring. It was not clear from the video I saw and what I read if I would have to splice into the old wiring system. Determined European cars used the H7 splitter which is plug and play and the old wires to solenoid are not used. American cars to have correct functionality must splice into the old solenoid wires...This is what I did...cut the plug end to the solenoid off the H7 splitter and spliced it into the old solenoid wires(no polarity so can't connect the wires wrong). Be prepared to find disintegrating insulation on the old solenoid wires....I took the wires out of routing fastners and ran heat shrink wrap all the way back to reinsulate the wires....worked great. Did have a little difficulty putting in the new bulbs...had to file the wings on the nut to allow room to reconnect the socket. With lights reinstalled the lighting they put out is great... I can drive safely at night again...and all functions of the switch work properly. I would definitely recommend. Also, the retrofit guys will answer any questions you have by E-mail....I emailed twice to ask questions and they replied promptly and helpfully.

Wow this kit is amazing. Its just a stunning difference. So glad I did it.
I had noticed my headlights getting dimmer over time, to the point where I had to run with fog lights on to see at night. At one point, I replaced the bulbs with Osrams (D2S - Osram Xenarc 66240CBI HID Bulbs) and that improved the light a bit. I peeked inside the bowls and they were turning that burned marshmallow color that isn't a good sign for future light output. So eventually I did some research and bought this kit. My technician friend installed it so I can't comment on that but the light output difference is unreal. You really don't know what you are missing since it has been slowly fading, or should I say burning away. But, wow, this kit is amazing. Its just a stunning difference. So glad I did it.

Projector covers
I bought this restore kit for my e46. The kit did not come with the projector covers or the square stickers to mark where to drill the holes. Shouldn't advertise something when it doesn't come with everything it says it does.

Too much and it didn't fit at all
Don't waste your money. Buy DEPO headlight assembly instead. Just add a little more for less headache.
