Music listeners who are looking for The Delfonics biggest hits from the 1970's era of Sweet Soul can snare most of their choice cuts with this disc. But don't confuse this CD with their original LP entitled "The Delfonics Super Hits" released shortly after their first two studio album releases in 1968 and 1969. The vinyl LP contains a much different lineup of tracks but ONLY the tunes that were drawn from the first two LPs plus their next single that followed the "Sound Of Sexy Soul" album - since Philly Groove Records didn't yet have another full album's worth of new tunes ready to go at the time. For those just getting into their song history or looking for just an overview of their hits this is probably OK. But there are better and more complete 'Best Of...' compilations available that give you way more bang for your buck. It's rather strange the original LP version of the album is not available at all on CD. I eventually resorted to compiling my own original 'Super Hits' CD version with all the tracks pulled from the first two studio LPs and the followup single - "You Got Yours And I'll Get Mine b/w "Loving Him" just so I could have their complete recorded history on 'glass' - and I kept the original vinyl LP with the distinctive pink cover!
