DC Unisex-Child Pure Elastic

First of all, my son was REALLY excited to get these shoes. He loved the "Pirate Black" and couldn't wait to try them on; school starts on September 2 and these were to be his new school shoes. He has numerous size 6 shoes that are beginning to get tight so I ordered a 6.5. I also ordered a Skechers brand 6.5. The Skechers fit fine with some room for the toes, just like we were taught they should be. These DC sneakers, on the other hand, were so narrowand short, my son had to push his foot down to get them in and then his toes were crushed in the front. One of three things are possible (to me) 1. His feet changes sizes every 60 seconds; 2. The shoes were mismarked; or 3. DC has a smaller numbering system than other major brands I've tried. While there is a minute possibility that #1 is true, I believe it is either #2 or #3 in which case, the problem lies with DC quality control or engineering. If I am expected to buy shoes through the mail, I have to be expected to not want to send said shoes back every time a manufacturer has a size issue. I may be a manly man but size really does count in this matter.

Wanted a change from my classic suede PUMAS/Addidas sneakers, so took a chance with DC Skater shoes. I usually wear 6.5 women's and DC "BIG KIDS" size 5 had more than enough room for my feet with thick wool socks. The width is nice if you've wide feet (leather may stretch out some once worn in, but mine are fairly new.) LOVE wearing my DC sneakers under some black wide leg pants, simple gry/blk color scheme is great for a classic urban, down to earth comfy but not sloppy look. Also, very versatile with jeans. Doesn't have arch support but they still feel fantastic for my everyday hustle with twins in tow. Great for the price! Will be putting a second pair on my wish list to Santa!

As the mother of a son who manages to somehow demolish sneakers in short order, I am infatuated with these shoes! My son has been wearing the same pair for almost two months now and they still look great. Maybe that doesn't seem too long but that is twice as long as every other pair of (expensive or cheap) sneakers he has owned during the past few years. He really likes them,too, and we've already ordered an extra pair in the next size up. Maybe I should get the next size after that also...Hm...

If shoes last 6 months on my son's feet, I call that success. These did - just. They look nice and seem well made. Eventually, there were holes in the soles and the soles were separating from the canvas. But he loved them!

These are very nice shoes but are smaller than other shoes in the same size. I was busy when they arrived and let my son wear them outside, so now I own them. He likes them but will always grab his old shoes when going out. I will be sending these shoes, worn once, to my grandson. I would estimate they run a half size smaller. Nice, sturdy and good looking shoes, just order a half size up.

These were great shoes for my 12 year old. He totally loved the colors and his friends asking where he got them. They were a big hit for Christmas. They did run a little small though and I had to return them for a full size bigger to allow for him to grow. But they held up great with all his activities.

My 8 year old grandson loves these shoes. He wears them daily and I have seen no issues with them comming apart yet. He plays rough and is outdoors most of the time. Size fit as expected and shoes were as shown.

My son wears a 2Y in other DC styles (like the Spartan High sneaker which we bought at the same time), but we had to exchange these for a size up. Other than this, the shoes are great. My son loves them.

mon petit-fils a aimé ces chaussures ainsi que la marque et la couleur ; ce sont des chaussures confortables et de qualité .par contre j'ai trouvé le prix un peu élevé .
