After many years of managing both home and hotel pools and hot tubs I was set in my ways and the assorted buckets of chemicals needed to maintain balanced PH, Alkalinity and Sanitizer for balanced and Health Dept. safe water quality. Trust me when I say if you saw what I saw you would normally never want to get in a hotel hot tub or any hot tub used by many people. When I recently purchased a new hot tub for home use I immediately started breaking out in red itchy patches and suspected bromine which I was never a big fan of but is recommended for home tubs. I have always used a non chlorine shock but had never used bromine in a personal hot tub and had never experienced a rash before. I tried letting it dissipate and swiching to low dose chlorine but once bromine is in a tub you have to drain and clean it to get rid of it. I learned that Chlorine actually recharges the used up bromine. That is why they say once a bromine tub, always a bromine tub. I had read many positive reviews on Spa Marvel but never tried it before and quite honestly didn't believe the hype. However, since I needed to drain and clean my hot tub anyway, I decided to give it a try. I used their three part system for cleaning out the tub, filter cleaning and their unique system of sanitising. I am now a believer. No more itch. A very small amount of chlorine tabs in a floater and a non chlorine oxidizer is all I need to use to keep water perfect. No more PH or Alkalinity bounces or defoamer needed. The water simply stays clear and safe with very little effort. I will now use Spa Marvel forever. It is only expensive for the first use because you have to clean out all the other chemical residue to start fresh. A treatment can last for 6 months before draining and refilling. PH and Alkalinity stays put and no more foaming so it saves a lot of money on other chemicals and lots of time correcting water issues. I also use a Frog system mineral stick in the skimmer just for good measure but probably won't need to replace it on the next fill.

We tried chlorine treatments in our spa. We tried bromine treatments. Both caused itchy red allergic reactions, and the water never really looked clear. With this treatment, the water has been perfectly clear for three months straight now, without adding any other chemicals. No itchy rash! Super clean water! Thank you! I can finally use my hot tub again! And so easy! Maintenance free!

Ok, So I spend a Lot of Time in my Spa after a Major Motorcycle Accident, 2 1/2 + hours a day, 7 days a week for about the last 4 years. Balancing water chemistry is not hard but takes chemicals. Not for sure how I found this product, but after seeing some of the Reviews and Visiting there web-site, which they have a nice one, states you can Reduce the amount of Chemicals you use. Who is not for that? I thought Lets try it. So I ordered the 3 pack starter kit. Spa Marvel Trio is Not Cheap. On there web-site it states 8.2 ph is fine. It is NOT, Spa's are to be Max of 7.8 but best at 7.6. The reason they say that is because No mater how much Dry Acid you put into the Spa the ph Won't Go any Lower. My ph was OFF the Charts. The Alkalinity Goes LOW and you cant bring it up to where it need to be. I even called the Test Kit People at Taylor. After Playing with the Water Balance for almost 2 full weeks, it would Never Balance Out. Your Skin becomes Dry and Itchy. I spoke to a few Professional Spa people, they told me to Dump the water and Start again. But I wanted this stuff to work. I wrote them a letter but the comment box would only let you put a short comment. I told them I want a REFUND. No One ever got back to me at All. So I just Dumped the water and Balanced the Water the Old Fashion Way. All is Good Now.

I wanted this to work, I really did, but it does not. I bought the whole package, enzyme treatment, hot tub cleaner and filter cleaner. The hot tub cleaner does not work as well as Oh Yuk. The filter cleaner does not work as well as plan old bleach and water and I still use then same amount of bromine as I did before. Save your money. Do not buy this.

Spa Marvel is the best product for hot tubs! It makes the water so much better and less harsh with chemicals. I have to use approx half of what I use to use for chemicals. I fill my tub with lake water so it’s very discoloured (yellowish) when I fill it and within 48 hours it’s sparkling clear. Don’t waste your money on other chemicals that are harsh for your tub and skin!

I love this product!. I have excess and psoriasis and many products cause me major flare ups. Marvel spa is very gentle on the skin. Highly recommend

Easy to use on Soft Tub

Spa water was previously slightly cloudy after a month of use, very foamy. Cleaned with spa marvel cleanser, drained and refilled. Used Spa Marvel exactly as directed. Water is now crystal clear, use less sanitizer, zero chemical smell. It’s only been a couple of weeks, but this product is exceeding my expectations. Water “feels” better, no leftover chemical smell on your skin afterwards.
