My Blu-ray player is in the room next door with the Denom AV in the media box. I was using my tv remote for my Blu-ray player but there were many instances where it wouldn’t work and I’ll need to head into the other room to use the Blu-ray remote. Nightmare. Found this as a solution and it works perfectly. Can also use it for my denom too as they are both in the same box. Very easy to install, wire is thin so easy to get through the wall to the Blu-ray player. Great value for money.

It works fine but has a giant blue light that lights up when you press a button or when it detects any kind of IR activity. Would be nice to be able to turn that light off

No requiere configuración ni instalación complicada, simplemente enchufar y usar. Me resultó muy práctico para ocultar el decodificador dentro de un mueble sin perder el control con el mando. El cable tiene buena longitud, así que permite colocarlo con bastante libertad. Además, se alimenta directamente por USB, por lo que lo conecté al propio puerto del receptor y funciona sin ningún problema. El LED del receptor ayuda a comprobar que la señal llega correctamente, algo útil cuando estás ajustando la posición. En general, la calidad de construcción es buena, con materiales ligeros pero firmes, y cumple lo que promete sin complicaciones. I recently upgraded my television, and unfortunately the IR receiver for it is located just under the middle of the front of the TV, which with the height of my soundbar, means from my normal seating position the view of the IR from the remote is completely blocked. Although in my scenario the length I ordered was far too long (ironically also the cheaper choice), I simply coiled up the excess and tucked it away neatly, and luckily my power board has USB sockets so I just plugged the item in there (as I don't believe the USB on the TV is powered when the TV is off, thus not solving my issue). But once installed, it worked first try, no setup other than the placement of the IR receiver and transmitters to the relevant locations.
