The eggs are plastic, covered in a felt like material. The surface is hard to paint and takes a while to dry, which was not what I expected. The paints have a nice variety of colors and everything else was as expected, but I wish I would have known the surface wasn't plastic as it does have another covering on it. My kids are enjoying painting them though!

For the past two years my family has painted eggs instead of dying them. I have two small children and the thought of dying had me stressed out. So painting it is! And honestly I think this has become our new tradition. This product was perfect! Great amount of eggs, lots of beautiful colors of paint, different brushes. My family loved it!

My kids absolutely loved this painting kit. We usually dye our eggs but the same thing happens each year, my kids get dye on their clothes and on their hands. This also makes them have to be a little more creative which is always great. I recommend this if you are tired of dying your eggs.

You need to buy this if you want your kids to have so much fun coloring eggs! All the materials were awesome, the eggs had a great quality and it shows the manufacturer really thought about everything a kid would need to make this a wonderful Easter experience. Will buy more in the future!!!
